Basic requirements:
1. Love to play browser games and skillful at playing at least one browser game;
2. Have a strong sense of responsibility;
3. No bad record on BBGsite forum;
4. Have sufficient time to fulfill the job duties (2 hours per day on average);
5. Good writing ability;
6. Active on the forum.

Scope of work:
1. Communicate with forum users, including starting new topics, replying posts, etc, direct the users to read excellent posts and stimulate lurkers to respond;
2. Post forum announcements, recommend excellent posts, add excellent original articles into classic topic area;
3. Organize and host forum events or activities;
4. Edit or delete posts violating forum rules and punish violators in an appropriate way.

Rules:
1. You’ll receive a monthly pay of 500 forum points if you log onto the forum for 20+ times and make 50+ posts each month.
2. You’ll receive a monthly pay of 300 forum points each month if you log onto the forum for 11-19 times and make 30+ posts each month.
3. But if you log onto the forum for less than 10 times in a month, you’ll be rewarded nothing.
4. If the post you make is wonderful enough, it will be featured on the BBGsite Homepage and you’ll be rewarded 200 forum points for each featured post.
5. If you do really well on the BBGsite Forum, we’ll do an interview with you. The interview will also be featured on BBGsite Homepage, which will make you known to all the browser game players around the world.

Note: Forum points can be converted into BBG Gold, which can be used to buy virtual items, premium accounts, etc.

1. Why apply?

I'm applying for BBG site mod because i know that i can try to improve bbgsite and attract people to come and participate in the events. I can bring a good mood to bbgsite. BBG site is a great place and i want to be part of the action instead of just sitting there and be a by stander, instead i want to help BBG site and make it a Excellent Gaming site where people could come always looking forward to the great things that BBGsite has to offer them. I dont want people leaving and hating, instead i want to help them out and make them stay here.

2. In your opinion, what makes an excellent moderator?

To me an Excellent Mod would be hard working, Very responsible, be on as much as they can, help around the forums, Never Flame, always try to help no matter what, even if the user doesnt like the mod, the mod will still help. Being a mod who never abuses his powers because it can always be taken away, a very kind Mod, with a good sense of humor, someone everyone likes to hang around, To know everything<--- is Excellent but that will have to wait.

3. Do you think the board you’re applying for needs to be improved and what’s your plan?

Depending on which board i get chosen for, i think i can always link that part of the forum or get users interested in the board, because everyone likes rewards. The reviewer Camp is very dead but that can be changed if There were more games to be reviewed >:). I can always test new games out and see if their good, who i could recommend it to. The contest's i can try to make more interesting with what TheBuddha did, asking users what kind of events they would like to see, that is a great idea, it attracts users because its what they want to do. If its to help people, it's something i love to do.

4. Any suggestions and ideas for the whole BBGsite Forum to prosper?

I think that the whole BBGsite needs a make over, because the color is a bit too dull, more lighter colors should attract players because the dark color gives off a bad mood, Light colors could give off a good mood. other than that its good to go

I was a admin for my own Alliance, but i think the website is gone since it wasnt used for a long time, other than that i dont think i have other experience as mods but only as GM's on some games i've played on

Once i'm on the forums more often, i'll try to post some

I have finished college and need something to do in the meantime until University, at University I would probably spend more time on the forum during studying. I enjoy playing browser based games and have allot of patience. I also enjoy talking and meeting new people including helping them out with any problems...


2. In your opinion, what makes an excellent moderator?

Someone who can solve a problem in a matter of minutes, someone who is easy to understand and talk to and can give clear precise information. Reliable, hardworking and good at what they do.

3. Do you think the board you’re applying for needs to be improved and what’s your plan?

If a board needs to be improved I will take any necessary precautions to making it better, for example if someone is posting spam I will delete the thread and block the user, preventing it from happening again. To make the board more fun introduce games and activities the users can participate in!

4. Any suggestions and ideas for the whole BBGsite Forum to prosper?

Possibly a points reward system, where users who contribute to the forum get points for replying or creating a thread. Then the users can spend their points on avatars, symbols and pictures to put against their name or custom titles... There are points on the site but no where to spend them apart from exchanging them for gold!

I have allot of great ideas which should be discussed between administrators and moderators as other forums could steal the ideas beforehand.

I have created and moderated several forums that have now been shut down due to lack of income but was a popular staff member.

You are new in BBGsite Forum, so i think you could be a temporary moderator now, and you will be promoted to formal moderator a month later if you doing well in BBGsite Forum.
