What do you think will greet you after clicking the above two images? Porn sites? Or sex-themed centers? Anyway, I have to say that the two images were just presented by some Chinese game companies to advertise their games. The first time when my friend told me that these were just game-related ads, I was also greatly shocked like you all. In the Chinese game market, we can find that there are so many deceptive game ads featuring vulgar and erotic images for the sake of attracting players. Though the Chinese government has recently examined and dealt with the vulgar online ads and over 80 game companies/websites have also been asked to make corrections, such ads still exist. Let’s just check below for some of such ads my friend encountered:



1. Which girl do you prefer to play with?


The above is an ad regarding a China-made online game called Blade Hero 2. You can see that this ad features 5 charming girls and a sentence - “Which girl do you prefer to play with?”. I don’t know what do you expect to see in the game after seeing this ad. The screenshot below is what we saw after accessing the game’s official site via the ad:

From the screenshot, we can see that this is just an ordinary online game like many others and has nothing to do with the ad above. Which girl do you prefer to play with? Just play yourself -_-



2. Countless beauties are awaiting you


In the above ad, we can see 4 girls and some words saying “Countless beauties are awaiting you! Wanna have fun with me right now?” Do you think this is also a porn site? Do you think that you can just click one of the girls and have a charged chat with her? I’m sorry to tell you that things are not what you think. The ad is about a China-made browser game called “Jiang Hu Feng Yun” in Chinese.
The ad seems to tell us that the game relates to beauties to some extent. But after I registered an account for this game, I found that it’s just a strategy browser game.

I don’t know if it’s a deceitful ad. Nevertheless, I do think it is a spam ad. What do you think?



3. Making friends? Playing a game?

Here comes another ad:

You may not believe that the image above also has something to do with a game. Actually, it is the registration screen of a game called web Fantasy (literally translated). Incredible, isn’t it? It really looks like the registration screen of a friend-making/partner-seeking site. I really have to admire the Chinese game company’s super imagination. How could they present a game site that resembles a friend-making site so much?

Will you click the ads similar to those shown above? Will you make registration? I will actually from curiosity! It is a fact that Chinese game companies, especially those browser game companies know very well how to catch players’ eyes in the field of promotion/advertising. However, few players like the ads of sexual attraction and fraudulence. Hope the Chinese government will strengthen the striking force toward vulgar and deceitful ads. I believe that such ads can be found not only in China, but also in many other countries/regions. If you also encounter such ads, please feel free to post them for discussion!
