Dragon¡¯s Call

Chapter I

On Still Land, hundreds of years have come and gone, but the battle between humans and orcs continues. At this moment, Duke Teddis, Cold Wind Commander, a hero long famous for his deeds in war, gathered all the strength of Glancer to face the orcs. Being the last child of his family, Heart of Fire Dragon, he was burdoned to reverse the kingdom’s fortune.

Since the orcs occupied Orcmu, the defense of Glancer weakened day by day. The kingdom fell in disorder. Duke Teddis then decided to modify his Cold Wind Manor into a stronghold against Orcmu, and expand his armory at the same time. In the coming years, this place would lose its peace…

Shortly afterwards, across the kingdom, the orcs stormed one city after another, and then quartered themselves in the mines, farms, etc. Watching the map in great wrath, Duke Teddis fisted the small table into debris. As the trumpet call came from Cold Wind Manor, the human army was all ready to march towards Orcmu. The city, now an unbreakable castle controlled by the orcs, and the prevailing drought there, imposed a formidable challenge to the human army.

Duke Teddis carried Blade of Infinite Flame, a family heritage. Wherever he went, the drought retreated at the march of his army and headed for Orcmu instead. This is why he was known as Cold Wind Commander.



Tip 1
Have you seen the distant stronghold? The army, the adventurers and the merchants all need to replenish their supplies in town. You always have a chance to find your desired equipment in the auction house or in the market. Of course, you can also sell your loot there.

There are many ways to enrich one’s adventure. Each big and prosperous city has its own arena, allowing valiants from all over the world to show their fighting skills. If you are not prepared for these combats, you’d best find a steady and well-paid job in the job market.

It is not safe to travel in the wild. You have a depot in town. It’s better to deposit your gold and treasure there. Um, you don’t need to worry about any loss. Moreover, you can increase your wealth in many ways. Isn’t it great to look at a full depot?

Chapter II

The green skinned orcs witnessed their greatest and wisest leader ever, one who called himself Sik the Red Neck, once the ruler of Scar Blade Orcs. The march of his troops brought together the long divided chieftains of the Chaotic Orcs, and his fame increased with the passing of time. Some outlying clans also vowed their loyalty to him. All the mines in Orct fell into his hands and offered a solid base for his military expansion.

The orcs were unified under the banner of Sik the Red Neck. However, his ambition went far beyond. His interest in neighborly races was growing. In his plan, the Kingdom of Glancer, as endowed with the richest resources, would make a transit post for his campaign to conquer the entire continent. As was expected, the human armies showed no will to battle these green creatures that were armed with broad blades and sharp teeth. The humans quickly retreated in defeat, leaving behind towns and resources.

After the fall of Orcmu Keep, the humans were left with one last hope, Cold Wind Manor in the hands of Duke Teddis, the Cold Wind Commander.





Tip 2

The combat-ready orcs are not easy to deal with. On this land, you can find their camps everywhere along the border of human kingdoms. For example, Blood Axe Camping Ground, one of the early famous instances, belongs to an elite army under Sik the Red Neck. They are brutal, blood thirsty and eager to conquer. They often take hostage of human civilians and militants for cruel interrogation.

There are also human cities taken by the orcs and renamed in the orc manner, like Orcmu and Orcra, from where you can watch the rear area of the human army. You will find the people who are in deep trouble, both inside and outside human settlements. They will give you a broad range of quests, such as killing orcs, collecting materials and sending messages. As for some quests, you must enter the instances or even kill powerful bosses to complete them.


Chapter III

On the military map, the human kingdom appeared in rags and tatters. For several years, only Cold Wind Manor was standing against Orcmu. Finally, Sik the Red Neck lost his patience. His main forces in many places were gathered in Orcmu, to answer their master’s call to destroy his old opponent, Duke Teddis, once and for all.

Cold Wind Manor gave their response. The humans engaged the orcs on the snowfield between Cold Wind Manor and Orcmu. The violent and bloody scene was unfolding. The order to charge would push both sides to the final contest for survival…

Right now, the rolling dark cloud gradually cleared away. The flooding troops and the battle cries were both buried in raging flame. Hundreds of red and black dragons blotted out the heaven, crushing the weak creatures on land. They brought fervor and catastrophe to this world…




Tip 3

Before these gigantic and powerful dragons, the adventurers may feel helpless. Don’t worry. There is the Rune of Dragon Slayer, as well as other kinds of rune. You can purchase runes with the honor points you obtain in the arena, or with gold in the auction house and the market.

The pugnacious and formidable green dragon has green scales, immense double jaws and a raising horny crest. The red dragon, master of dragon flame, is endowed with a gigantic body, strong claws and lava-like eyeballs. The blue dragon, armed with crystal blue scales, a rigid horn and two raising ears, commands the force of icy chill. The dragons are everywhere. Are you prepared to face them?

Chapter IV

Several days went by since the fierce fight between Duke Teddis and Sik the Red Neck. Both sides had incurred great losses, with more than half of their soldiers fallen. So far, they had no idea where the immense flying creatures came from, or for what reason. This long prepared battle between humans and orcs, sealed in their destiny, would not change for any outside force. Sacrifice was inevitable.

Stomp, fire, slash and burn… The only belief for both sides was to eliminate the enemy. The orcs created many primitive, exaggerate and powerful weapons. With their relentless bodies, they were killing on a spree. The humans had outstanding siege techniques and excellent diplomatic skills. They often rallied with other orderly or neutral races, and recruited many mercenaries on their side.

The humans and the orcs exchanged force and death like this. No doubt, anyone who survived this battle would face the hazard of doom.





Tip 4:

As you start adventure, you will be faced with a great number of wild creatures, beasts, undead monsters, orcs and even dragons. However, there is always a limit to your energy every day. That is to say, you cannot join any battle if you have run out of Action Points.

As a rule, team play will make you feel better than solitude. If you need help, you can find all kinds of adventurers in the mercenary market. If you like, you can pay them for their service in battle.


Chapter V
Heavily burned bodies in armor and nasty smells all over the field indicated the end of this battle. This is the most tragic ending, or just the beginning of the tragedy.
Finally, the human army successfully fended the orcs off the border. The search team tried to find the corpse of Sik the Red Neck in the dead bodies, but they got nothing. I’m sure he’s not dead! What a stupid idea. I think people should know that his influence is everywhere. We will meet again! Duke Teddis headed the remaining army off the battleground, though somewhat regretful over the orc leader’s survival. They would open a new page for the kingdom.




Tip 5:
How would you get and handle the loot? You will receive proportional experience and gold after each battle. It is also possible to obtain more rewards by some means. The items and gems you may get from battles can be used in refining equipment. The basic status of the equipment can be enhanced by increasing the refining level. You may also add some new status to the item, e.g. strength, stamina, etc.
